Thank you for sharing, how is the result now ?
Well, MT5 is still the absolute winter in my comparison.
Change since last time:
On MT5 I lowered risk to 1 as default 1.5 was a bit too risky for me. Does anyone knows if leverage is considered for lot size calculation by EA? In that case one could also lower leverage.
On MT4 I set settings to same values as MT5 default is. It took much more trades but most in loss. So I changed it back to MT4 defaults.

Here are the current results.

Best Results I got on a special vpsserver on ICMARKETS from 50k to 250 k and tickmill from 50k to 625 k in a month
Wow, I am far away from that. Would you mind to give more information on your "special vps server"? What makes it special? Does it have dedicated resources?

Thanks for sharing again. I don't think leverage is considered for the lot size.
To make it more fair, can you adjust MT4 settings. As you must know Jared only use MT5, the MT4 default setting is missing some adjustments.
In your MT4 make sure EnabledBreakEven is TRUE and OpenOrderSlippage and CloseOrderSlippage are both at 100.

Hi, I started trying ELM on FpMarkets MT5 raw account yesterday, but it only made me one trade and also at a loss.

I wanted to know if you can kindly tell me what kind of account you have opened on FpMarkets and what settings you are using, thanks.

I also see from the screenshot of MyFxBook that you have the names of the normal pairs, my pairs instead end with ".r", can you confirm that you have them as well?

Well, it looks like I have same account type which is raw. And I also had 1 loss trade on 2nd of November.
It looks like myfxbook recognizes the .r suffix.

For settings as I said before I am using default with lower risk of 1.0
However, I saw that Jarred had a couple of winning trades recently on fpmarkets MT5 account and we might as him what is different to our settings.

After using it for a while, I have a little suggestion for you:
- Select VPS UK (If not the VPS UK can be path to the loss of the high)
-
VolumeOrderFlow=1.0 to 1.5 (Depending on the broker and depending on the time of change)
SpreadCoef=0.3 to 0.5
Impulse=1.5 to 2
OrderMinLifeTime=1
OrderMaxLifeTime=1800

The rest of the parameters are default .Good luck

Based on my experience of using this bot, I can say that one transaction, like one day, is not an indicator. I usually test for at least a couple of weeks and only then do statistics. Thank you for your settings, I will definitely try. Although I myself prefer the default settings.

Anybody knows how to get more trades on MT4 opti license? Since update to 2.1 it opens trades only on Wednesdays. During November a had only three trading days (2nd, 9th, 16th) on IC Markets and two on tickmill (2nd and 16th) and only 1-3 trades per day. It doesn't look right. All settings are default.

Colleague, I have been working with Tickmill since June of this year with the Opti version, and I noticed that a lot depends on the state of the market as a whole. There are days when there are practically no transactions, but in general I am pleased with the results. Let it be better to have fewer of them, but they will be with a larger percentage of profit than many empty/false trades. I also recommend paying attention to the broker and its trading conditions. And the fact that you had these numbers when transactions were made is pure coincidence. Try changing the settings to be more aggressive. Well, the best way is to contact technical support.

Hi Manger98,

Your results are astounding. How long did you trade to get that kind of results? Can you please share more details about your VPS, your setfiles for ICM and Tickmill, and your account types?

Thanks.

Yes, I completely agree with some of you, the results are different, but we understand how we are trying to make money, because this is Forex, there is no need to wait for stability. As for ELM, it is the best EA that I have worked with. It has some difficult moments such as trading conditions, but after some experience and work on my mistakes it is possible to achieve a stable profit.

The results of NFP this month caused a huge volatility, which allowed to rock the boat called Forex very strongly. Such a number of trades I do not remember this year . I was very happy, after a long lull.

One of my account as a result of NFP was left on the loss limit of 30%, and the other account got a 150% profit, of course I wish that each of these accounts have earned 150%, but damn, they are different brokers and different settings on these accounts, so I'm always ready for such situations. I think that this has happened not only to me but to you too. Anybody want to share their results from last week? It would be interesting to compare

Buddy, I completely agree with you about Forex volatility. But it seems to me that the Advisor in such conditions feels like a fish in water, and this allows him to make good money on these races. The main thing is to choose the right settings.

Hi all ! I don’t know how relevant this topic will be, but I want to share my joy that I bought the Pro 2.1 version a couple of weeks ago and I want to share my thoughts and observations on the work of this bot on my accounts! If anyone also wants to join the company, then join and share the results here!

Hi, I am doing a little experiment in order to "compare" MT5 with MT4. The setup is the following:

1 Chocoping VPS - location NY (3 CPU - 3 GB)
1 MT4 terminal
1 MT5 terminal

Each acc funded with 3k - such as Jarred did.

Same pairs on both of them. Default settings!
Broker each FPMarkets (intl.) raw account - 1:500 leverage
I started on 10. of October.

I realized later that default settings are different between MT4 and MT5. Especially the auto risk value is 3 times higher on MT5 default settings. So for comparison may need to keep it in mind.

Both accounts made just a few trades .. somme losses some winners sometimes 3% gain sometimes 3% losses. Nothing to worry about. Until today.

The MT4 account is at the moment ~ 3% in plus.
The MT5 account was almost not trading at all, but it is now 135% in profit. And 125% it just today. For comparing purpose if it's not like comparing apples with pears as default settings are not the same, I may divide the 135% by 3 as auto risk is 3 times higher. that would still mean ~45%.

For my feeling risk for MT5 is a bit too high. But in total I am happy. How were your results?
Could you please share your result for now?
