I traded on such a strategy only on the main EAP, I made a stop in half of the candle on which I opened trades, the strategy is working in the long term, that is, every day to open new deposits, and close the old ones independently + or-for a pair. But the downside is that people have a different time zone with the broker, sometimes it is not particularly convenient to get up at night and place orders. And if you bet in the morning, the price can already go far from the expected entry. This strategy is best used on H1 in the daytime.

The pound is hardly suitable. We need proportional "neat" candlesticks with tails, preferably in trends. There aren't many of them on the pound. It is necessary to choose the appropriate tool, where there are many suitable candlesticks and trends. Or some other filters for entering.

"There were some interesting ideas. It's even strange that no one on the forum paid attention to them and left no comments." Not true, I published his video in some forex groups and asked him to translate or understand, everyone kept silent. And I liked his ideas, but I'm zero in English

It's about this translation of the interview with Avery.
And write interesting findings for translations here

It is useless to translate. He has a way of explaining - grandfather on the bench)

I started testing gbpusd manually. If the shadow is less than 120 and more than 1000p, then did not enter. Since 18.02.19, the results are approximate, since some days were skipped when there were no trading conditions and when the profit beat point to point, I counted as unprofitable days. There were an average of one such day per month. Months: 1. 3254p. 2.- 25p 3. 638p 4. 1498p 5. 3378p 6. 780p 7.- 1400p 8-40p 9. - 1735p 10. - 1394p 11. 1765p 12. 823p 13.- 350p 14. 1320p 15. 2760p

If the volume of each transaction is 3% of the initial deposit, then a Profit of + 141% would be obtained for the entire period. But in fact, you can do more, if you carefully stretch out profitable deals, throw out controversial ones from the statistics and risk 3%, taking into account the already accumulated profit

Good afternoon!
Something similar to GreenRed (laid out earlier), still traded. From experience, I think this idea will work at a distance.
A couple of remarks.:
1)When testing on history, for similar ideas, it gives an error of 20-30 % of the result for the worse in reality (those tests that greenred conducted with his hands on history, they can be found in that topic).
Test the Demo in real time, take a couple of months to do this-you will immediately find individual improvements that will give you an increase.
2) MM in % ratio, proved to be worse than the volume of the position on the volume of the established funds.
But to do this, you need to know the strength of your approach and deposit >:d< (On the Demo you can).
I am not a supporter of robotics, for gas, I think, in annual terms, the profit factor will be 1.5-1.7.

Similar TS on daily candlesticks with a small tp-try to limit trading on TUE Wed Thu (Monday is a sluggish start / Friday is the close of the week / gap is not the most promising idea)

The TA should be dynamic, not fixed.

There is nothing new, all the interesting ideas are on the forum in the old topics.

Need an adviser! Run on the history and everything will become clear, where you can improve and finish it!>:d<

Thank you for your advice!
Why is Friday trading disabled in the tests? On Monday, it is still clear: there may be a gap! But why Friday!?

This test is just an example. Optimization was not particularly carried out, and the quotes need to be better, so that something sensible can be said about the work of the adviser. Trading was limited to the most volatile days of the week, as recommended above. The Expert Advisor can also trade on Monday, if the opening price of the candle on Monday is within the Friday candle.
Here, by the way, is an example of the results of the initial optimization and by the days of the week (Mon and Fri varied), as well as the closing time of orders after 23 hours. The lot is constant (0.1 with an initial 10,000 depots) or proportional (0.3 for every 10,000 depots). If the best quality quotes show the result is not much worse - you can take it as a basis for further optimization.
